Fire TV Cube is supported
The Amazon Fire TV Cube (3rd generation, Fire OS 7 on Android 9) has been verified as a TV device.
- 32-bit build: Fire OS runs 32-bit apps only; there is now the
android-armv7preset with QUIC. The package installs and starts without changes and without a Play Services dependency. - Verified: server list via mDNS, certificate trust, sign-in, home, rows, libraries, detail pages, Direct Play with 4K Dolby Vision HEVC through the hardware decoder and 1080p H.264, saved progress, search, administration. The layout matches the Shield; no changes were needed.
- On-screen keyboard: on Fire OS, OK on a text field did not open the keyboard (a behaviour of the Qt input layer without a prior touch). There, the key filter now triggers a synthetic tap on the field when OK is released; other devices keep the previous path.
- Menu key: the ☰ key of the Fire TV remote opens the context menu of the focused poster or detail page.
Subtitle extraction as its own task
Extracting embedded subtitles blocked the server under load. It now runs as its own task in the scheduler, cancelling stops FFmpeg immediately, and progress within a file is visible. The scan processes the newest folders first.
