File browser v2 complete
The file browser was rebuilt in six steps and is now complete.
- View: drives with names, quick access, breadcrumb, search, sorting, type icons, hidden files, compare, drag between panes, free space, grid view.
- Transfers: transfer list with filters, pause, resume and retry; a folder as one row; conflict dialog with overwrite, overwrite if newer, keep both, skip.
- File operations: new folder, inline rename, duplicate, delete (local to the recycle bin, remote permanently with confirmation), properties; every operation in the audit log.
- Convenience: context menus, keyboard shortcuts, copy and paste across panes and with Explorer, open with, show in Explorer, upload to.
- Archives: ZIP locally, upload as one ZIP, create ZIP, tar.gz and 7z on the remote machine, step by step with progress and cancel.
- Open on the remote machine (with remote shell), open shell here, edit locally with upload on save and conflict check.
- Search in subfolders from the current folder on both sides and on Android devices, with a “folder” column and all actions on hits; limits at 2,000 hits, 50,000 folders and 32 levels.
